CMA Tools (Burnley) Ltd. have over 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of Press Tools, Jigs and Fixtures for the aerospace and automotive industries.

Design

CMA has a comprehensive design facility, using Vero software tooling schemes and design concepts can be produced within hours allowing to see potential problems at a very early stage.

Manufacture

CMA has an array of machinery both conventional and CNC all operated by a highly skilled team of engineers.

Tool Proving

CMA offer the full package when it comes to press tools, with our in house power presses all tools are put through a trial run and proved before dispatch allowing them to go straight to production

Inspection

Final inspection reports for first offs and tooling are just the beginning of what CMA's inspection department can offer with our Aberlink powered CNC type CMM.

DESIGN

1CMA Tools offer a comprehensive design facility. Powered by Vero we are able to produce tool drawings and progressive strip layouts, identify formability issues and quickly produce blank profiles.

MANUFACTURE

2CMA has a skilled team of toolmakers that use a range of manufacturing methods from conventional Bridgeport milling machines and lathes to surface grinders and CNC machining centres.

TOOL PROVING

3In house proving of tools is an important feature of the CMA process. Customers can be assured that when they receive their tooling they can go straight to production.

INSPECTION

4Our CNC type CMM is powered by Aberlink and gives us great versatility in our Inspection Department not only allowing us check 2D dimensions but we can inspect complex 3D geometery directly against CAD models.
