CMA’s inspection is all done in house on our CNC type CMM. Our machine is fitted with a Renishaw touch type probe, the world leader when it comes to inspection, so you can be assured that reports are produced to the highest of standards with our machine being accurate to 3 microns. The Bridge type CMM has an XYZ working area of 2m x 1m x 800mm.
Nominal 2D sizes and first off inspections are just the beginning of the inspection departments capability. Powered by Aberlink it is also possible to measure components directly against CAD data allowing us to measure complex 3D surfaces.
Digitizing equally complex surfaces is also possible allowing us to reverse engineer parts, which is particularly useful when replacing broken items and drawings are no longer available.
